Christine has been very ill, but is improving. She is due for a heart operation soon, but is still writing and editing, particularly focusing on her third collection Clouds Form Strange Monsters in the Mind, set in and celebrating Bradford.

Please keep asking for her two books: She Looks Out of my Face and Granny Knot.

Christine reads ‘Fruitflower’ at StillBorn book launch

Christine’s reading of her poem ‘Fruitflower’ commissioned by artist Adinda van ‘t Klooster for the launch of her book StillBorn, which includes the images of fifteen artworks on the theme of stillbirth and twelve poems in response to the artworks commissioned from a range of professional poets.

The poem ‘Fruitflower’ was a response to Adinda’s artwork ‘More Hole than Whole’ on the theme of grief related to stillbirth. (See Christine’s post on the process of writing)
